I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all the Clubs in the Southern Division to the Toastmasters Year 2007 / 2008. The Southern Division has always been a successful Division and I know that this year will be no exception. It is going to be a fun filled year and we all have to work together to get all of our Clubs, Areas and Divisional Contests run on time. May I give you some dates to put into your Diaries some up and coming contests and events.

The Southern Division has a Website and our Webmaster is Julita Lee ATM(S). We would like to see our Website being used by all Area Governors and Club Executive Committee Members so that we can keep everyone informed of what is happening in our Division. We would like to know who won each contest and possibly a photograph or two I would like us all to think about our Distinguished Club Program and what goals we can achieve. Let’s all try and achieve as many, if not all, of those goals as we can. Although the DCP is important I’m sure we all realize that our Club Members are our most important asset, without them we don’t exist. We must help them all achieve in an environment that is conducive for them to gain their skills and rewards. Let me wish each and everyone of you the very best of luck in your Contests and as they say “ may the best person win “. I also hope to see you all and visit your Clubs soon.
