Speechcraft Courses

 

Toastmasters Clubs in District 70 offer Speechcraft programs within their local communities.

This is done as a community service. The course costs vary between Clubs, depending on venue and other commitments, but are generally in the range of $200 - $500 per person.

Below is a list of Speechcraft courses currently being organised by Toastmasters Clubs in NSW and the ACT, grouped by general location.

Sydney CBD Toastmasters Clubs run regular 6 session Speechcraft courses at the York Conference & Function Centre, 99 York Street, Sydney.     Sydney CBD FPA Toastmasters Club is running an 8 week Speechcraft course on consecutive Mondays commencing 16th April - 12.15pm to 1.45pm. All course materials and light lunch provided.     Sydney University of New South Wales Professional Speakers will commence an intensive 4 week Speechcraft course on Saturday 4th February. the course will run on four consecutive Saturdays 2pm-6pm and is open to community members.     Sydney Gaelic Toastmasters Club will conduct regular Speechcraft courses on 8 consecutive weeks,  6.30pm – 9.30pm commencing on Tuesdays at the Sydney Mechanics' School of Arts (SMSA), 280 Pitt St. Sydney (between Park & Bathurst Sts) near Sydney Town Hall.     Sutherland Shire

Miranda Toastmasters Club conducts three Speechcraft courses each year consisting of eight sessions. The next Speechcraft course will commence on Wednesday 6th June 2012, in the S.U.S. Club in Sutherland. Each session starts at 7.00pm and finishes at 10.00pm. Parramatta Parramatta Toastmasters Club conducts four Speechcraft programs each year coinciding with the four school terms. The programs are conducted at the Rowland Hassall School, Hassall Street, Parramatta. The meetings are held on 6 Tuesdays at 6.30pm for a 6.45pm start. The next course starts on Tuesday 1st May.     Chatswood/Willoughby Chatswood Communicators Toastmasters Club will be running a 4 week Speechcraft Course see Tuesday dates below, each session starting at 6.45 pm. The venue is Club Willoughby, 26 Crabbes Avenue (off Penshurst Street), Willoughby.

    Forster Great Lakes Speakers Toastmasters Club is running an 8 week Speechcraft course in conjunction with The Forster Tuncurry Community College on consecutive Mondays starting 13th February. - 5.30pm to 8pm.The classes will be held at the Community College cnr. (CBD)

Port Hunter Toastmasters Club runs an 8 week Speechcraft Course four times per year in conjunction with the WEA Hunter. The classes are held at Laman Street in the centre of Newcastle on Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 9:00 pm. Bookings can be made through the WEA. The final night of the course (Graduation Night) is held at Port Hunter Club's Monday meeting at Mayfield Sports Club, 58 Crebert Street, Mayfield (Newcastle)
