The following is a monthly
summary of major changes and additions made to this Toastmasters District
70 website that are still current. Some pages,
such as the Find a Club tables, What's On and the Speechcraft
pages, are updated frequently and thus are not logged here.

March 2010
- SOS Issue 8 posted on District Performance Page with associated SNAP reports showing District 70 performance for the 2009/2010 Toastmasters year.
- A new user-friendly Supplies online order form introduced into the Supplies page for all types of purchases (in association with a new Supplies price list containing many price reductions).

- The February issue of District 70 E-News has been published.

- The Public Relations Section of the website has been revised and launched in a new style with expanded content.
- A revised District Supplies price list has been published with many changes. See the Supplies page.

The Directory database for 2009/2010 been placed on the site. This means that the Area Governor/Division Staff Officer and the District Staff Officer search pages now give information
regarding 2009/2010 officers. The Find a Club
searches will also give details as submitted for the 2009/2010 District Directory. The What's On page has been revised to show dates for the various functions in the
2009/2010
District year.

- The Hall of
Fame has been updated with winners announced at the Changeover
Dinner.

and procedures for processing new member applications introduced by TI

- The
Guidelines for Club Websites document has been rewritten and
expanded, following many more enquiries since the first version was
published in March..

- Active Server Page (ASP) technology introduced on to the site. Our District databases have been placed
on the server and the "ASP" pages query these according to requests from
viewers. This technique is used to produce results in the Find a Club
pages, Officer contact details and reports such as those on the
Performance page. The site now includes 10 pages using this database
extraction technique to supply details about Clubs, Officers and
performance in the District.

District 70 Supplies. The on-line Order Form, Supplies Price List and

- Website fully functional with all planned content complete. The implementation, construction and launch of the website was a joint project carried out by David Cassey and Gary Wilson.
October 1999
- Meeting of interested and web experienced Toastmasters called by PDG Ted Mackness and District Governor Frank Higgins to discuss development of a District website. David Cassey delegated to arrange a URL and hosting for the website. Gary Wilson delegated to prepare a site map of proposed content and structure.
