District Conferences
The 2008 Semi-Annual Conference will be held at Campbelltown Catholic Club,
20 - 22 Camden Road, Campbelltown on Friday/Saturday 17/18th October, 2008.
Accommodation will be available at the adjacent 4.5 star Rydges Campbelltown Hotel.

Can't attend? If you are a Club voting delegate (President or Vice-President Education)
and cannot attend the Conference, then you can use this Proxy Form to enable another

The District 70 Changeover Dinner will be held on Saturday, 28 June at Bankstown Sports Club, 6.30 pm for a 7.00pm start. The cost is $39 per head. See flyer for details.

District Seminars
The next Sunday Seminar will be held on Sunday, 4 May at Bankstown Sports Club, Greenfield Parade, Bankstown, starting at 1.00 pm and will be devoted to all aspects of running Club Speechcraft. See flyer for details.

District 70 is hosting 4 Seminars and a full day Workshop by the 1990 World Champion of Public Speaking, David Brooks. The Seminars will be held on 5 May (Bankstown), 6 May (Maitland), 7 May (Bankstown) and 8 May (Canberra) with the full day Workshop on 10 May at Bankstown. See flyer for all the details.

Special Club Events
Tom Ware is aiming to become the first ever Accredited Speaker in District 70. He will be speaking at dinner/dance function on Saturday, 10th May at Ermington as part of his preparation before going to an International Convention to try and qualify. All members and guests are invited. See flyer for details.Concord West Toastmasters Club is holding a Demonstration Meeting at the new Concord Library, corner of Wellbank and Favelle Sts, Concord on 10th May from 12.00 to 12.30 to help celebrate the opening by The Mayor of Canada Bay of the Library and Child Care Centre. The Club will also be promoting Toastmasters to the wider community throughout the day from 10.00 am.
